The Langtang region, located north of Kathmandu and bordering Tibet, is one of Nepal’s most accessible yet stunning trekking destinations. Known for its alpine meadows, yak pastures, glacial valleys, and authentic Tamang culture, Langtang is ideal for those seeking a shorter but immersive Himalayan experience. With breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and serene villages like Kyanjin Gompa, it’s a blend of nature, comfort, and cultural depth.
Everest Luxury Trek offers bespoke Langtang trekking experiences that combine luxury lodge stays, private vehicle access, and cultural immersion. Discover the pristine trails of Langtang Valley, Kyanjin Gompa, Gosaikunda Lakes, and the Helambu circuit with gourmet meals, private guides, and optional helicopter return.
Langtang treks vary between 1,400m to 5,000m. Key spots include Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m), Gosaikunda Lake (4,380m), and Tserko Ri (5,000m). Our luxury itineraries ensure gradual altitude gain, rest days, and optional wellness support with helicopter rescue availability.
Stay at handpicked luxury lodges in Syabrubesi and Kyanjin Gompa, featuring ensuite rooms, heated dining, and chef-prepared meals. Pre- and post-trek accommodation in luxury hotels in Kathmandu is also included for total comfort.
The best time to trek in Langtang is from March to May and September to November, when skies are clear and wildflowers bloom. While winter treks (Dec–Feb) are possible, snow may limit access to high passes. The monsoon (June–August) is not ideal due to landslides and cloud cover.
Langtang is accessible by road – typically a 6–8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. For guests preferring speed and comfort, we offer private helicopter flights directly to Kyanjin Gompa or Gosaikunda. All treks include private jeeps, porters, and baggage handling.
We take care of all permit processing, so you can focus on the journey.
